<!doctype html> <html lang="en"> <head> <title>misc. - Portfolio</title> </head> <body> <h1>misc.</h1> <p><strong>Bonsai + gardening:</strong> i like to garden and grow things because it is something easy to take care of, and it helps me reflect on myself. growth really can just be from a glass of water. Bonsai is new for me. I inherented my grandfathers trees and have been taking care of them, nursing them back to health. It is intersting, how bonsai allows us to see a large thing smaller, like a miniture mastery and shaping of nature - something i dare never do in reality.</p> <p><strong>Baking + cooking:</strong> when i make anything to eat I never take the time to truly measure, but I always prepare for what can be. When I cook I imagine myself and those who are with me enjoying (or not) the dish or treat. That is what guides me as I mix, stir, chop, fold, saute, bake, grill, flambe, anything really.
